Sport Coach Assistant (“the App”, “we”, “us”) is developed and operated by Streal B.V., registered in the Netherlands. We take your privacy seriously and only process personal data that we need to provide the service.
1. Who is responsible
Streal B.V. is the data controller for personal data processed through sportcoachassistant.com and the Sport Coach Assistant app. You can reach us at info@streal.nl.
2. What we collect
- Account details — name and email address you provide when you sign up, contact us, or pre-register.
- Coaching data — teams, players, lineups, match events and statistics you enter into the App.
- Usage data — basic technical information (device type, app version, crash logs) so we can keep the App running smoothly.
3. Why we use your data
- To provide the coaching features you actively use in the App.
- To reply to contact and support messages.
- To send pre-registration confirmations and product updates you request.
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud and improve stability.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of (a) the performance of our agreement with you, (b) your consent where relevant (e.g. pre-registration emails), and (c) our legitimate interest in operating and improving the service.
5. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell personal data. We rely on a small number of trusted processors (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that act on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Data is stored within the EU/EEA where possible.
6. How long we keep it
We keep coaching data for as long as your account is active. Pre-registration emails are kept until we've onboarded your club or you unsubscribe. Contact and support emails are kept for up to 24 months.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, as well as data portability and objection to processing. Contact us at info@streal.nl and we'll respond within 30 days. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Children
Player profiles inside the App may include minors' names and positions. Coaches and clubs are responsible for having the appropriate consent from parents or guardians before entering this data.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures — encrypted transport, access controls and regular backups — to protect your data against loss and unauthorised access.
10. Changes
We may update this statement to reflect changes in the App or the law. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email.
